Is it possible to get a fleece jacket's sleeves altered?

Its a varsity fleece jacket, can I get the sleeves shortened or elongated? when I say elongated, I mean I will get it shortened now, but if I ever grow into it, can I make it back to its original size

1. Shortened for sure, I would just find a really good tailor, so they don't destroy it. As far as elongated, you may be able to squeeze an inch, give or take, depending on how the jacket was made. Again, find a good tailor for this.
2. A tailor will shorten the sleeves just let them know that at some point you would like the sleeves let down again. That way they will leave extra fabric.
