North Face Greenland

Has anyone washed their own North Face down jackets? I want to wash one but dont know how to wash and dry.?

1. if you wash them in warm water, when drying put a hard object in on low heat like a tennis shoe, or sneaker it keeps them fluffed up.
2. If you wash down, put it on cold wash and rinse, use gentle detergent. The important thing its to fluff it up in the dryer by using a tennis ball. If you wash one parka, put several dry bath towels in the dryer and the tennis ball. You may need to hang it to finish drying all the way. If it is lumpy,put it back in the dryer with the ball again.
3. WE WASH OURS IN BATH TUB AND LET LIE UNTIL ALMOST ALL WATER IS OUT. THEN WE LAY OUTSIDE AND KEEP TURNING OVER AND UP AND DOWN.
4. I take all my down coats to the Dry Cleaners as suggested on the tag. Ummm
5. I would definitely follow the manufacturer's washing and care instructions.
