Whats better Down?

I want a new outerwear item for winter, so i decided i would get a down filled piece of clothing. But i can't decide between a down jacket and a down vest. I mean with a down jacket, you get to cover your arms with warmth, but with a down vest your arms arn't restrained by the arms. i was thinking about a jacket with removeable sleeves, but i wouldent know where to put them. I just think i should get a vest, but can you help me decide. Thanks for your answers, but im still intreged by by the jacket, but i im still thinking about a vest. the idea i just thought of is wearing a light non-down jacket, with a pooffy down vest over it. i still confused, any more answers.

2. Go with the vest- you can't wash down, and it can be expensive to clean. If you wear just the vest, it is easier to keep clean! Sleeves brush against everything, and would get dirty alot faster!

A jacket with removeable sleeves, would be a good idea kind of have 2 in 1, but if you are out as you said where would you put the sleeves... and people might think OMG he wears the same thing all the time! And it would wear out a lot faster because you would wear as a jacket one day and a vest the next.... go for the vest!!!!!!!!!
4. i personally like the vest idea! don't wear a vest over a poofy jacket, though! if it's really cold where you live, get the jacket.
